Here's a classic...I know it well !

I even worked there for a couple of summers as a 'pot collector' (glass colector), when I was a young boy !!!!

Ah a place I know well Tuesday nights used to be an hour or so biowling or ice skating the a beer or two at the trip or yates wine lodge

I thought that might have been a new one for you !

I can see why you did the Skating or Bowling after the beer, and not the other way round...

Well there you go Ric I was brought up just to the South of Nottingham. In my days there there were young ladies that decided to get undressed for some reason or other in Yates Wine Bar on Sunday lunchtimes...eeee the memories

I'm afraid all I remember are the Trip,Yates andsome club on top of the Bridgeford Hotel almost overlooking the City Ground

...distant memories !

I can't remember the club, the Aviary was the pub just on the other side of the bridge !

The TBI was/is just round the corner (part of the cricket ground, The Trent Bridge Inn).

Fond memories !
