Hi.

I hope someone can help me. I've made a form using word for mac, which includes tick boxes and boxes for people to fill in with text. How do I protect it so that the tick boxes work, people can add text in the text boxes, but they can't change the existing layout?

Many thanks in advance.

I have no idea what Mac OS X version you are using nor do I know which Word for Mac version you have but regardless of this I'm offering basic advice in general.
The tools you need to protect those items are found in the Developers tab:

Here's how to show the Word for Mac Developer tab

  • On the "Word" menu, click "Preferences".
  • Under "Authoring and Proofing Tools", click "View".
  • Under "Ribbon", check the "Show developer tab" box.
