Problem With Google Chrome

After restarting my Mac google chrome reopened with the message saying that it was not properly shut down. When trying to use chrome pixelated streaks went diagonally across the window, search bars became extremely distorted in size and shape and nothing on the page can be clearly discerned (*see attached link*). I have tried restarting my Mac, force quitting chrome and uninstalling the app and reinstalling it but nothing has worked and the problem is still occurring. Any help would be greatly appreciated. *https://drive.google.com/open?id=1WPG0rKgR_ePZ5bQQFr9kQSuXu4Rl2obL*

Need the following information:

1. What exact Mac model do you have?

2. What exact Mac OS do you have?

It might be best if you get rid of ALL files associated with Google Chrome, then re-install it. An excellent free application to use for starting that process is AppCleaner, available from here:

https://freemacsoft.net/appcleaner/

That nifty program will catch most of the files associated with Google Chrome. But there could be some "left behind". So, do a search of "Google Chrome" with whatever search tool you use. The Mac OS comes with Spotlight, but I use EasyFind, available from here if you want it:

Look where it says "Freeware".

I use Google Chrome, and sometimes I get that message about Google Chrome not shutting down correctly. But when I start it up again, everything is fine.

Also, that link in your post does not work.
