Printer communication error

For reasons unknown my IMAC shows that it has lost communication (wireless) with the Epson printer. I've read the article on connecting wirelessly, but none of the suggestions seem to work. What do I do?

First I would test by hard wiring the printer to the IMAC, if it works then this would point to software and be a starting point.
