Hello everyone!

As i have already mentioned i have saved a Power Mac G4 two days ago and......its officially my first Mac :D!!!

I am going to use this Mac as ''youtube machine''.

Problem: I didn't know that this Mac needs a special cable to connect the LG screen which i got...

So, please suggest me a solutions for a possible adapter.

Best regards!

Hello and welcome.

Congrats on your first Mac! If it's a stock graphics card, then it should have two connections - an ADC (Apple Display Connector) and a DVI.

What connector type does the LG have? Model number?

Can you take photos of the back of the G4 and the LG connector?

Truly, I've got 5 of them that people have given to me to get rid of the damn things, they aren't worth the price of a power cable let alone a video adapter.

If you can find one, the Apple DVI to VGA adapter should work.

Like this which was sold retail:

Like this that came with Mac mini:

You'll have to pick one up used probably. Check local/online Apple parts stores and possibly eBay.

Some may play, but most won't.

Flash on the PPC (G4) is no longer updated by Adobe, so with each update the G4 falls further behind.
