please see photo, hard rebooted my Mac, and it will not boot up again

Its a MacBook Pro, bought in early 2006, has Snow Leopard. I've tried restarting it with battery in and out, holding certain keys, tried all combinations…. it will not reboot. Please help! It's my baby "Angie" had it for over 7 years!

You'll need to boot off the DVD and try an install in place.

Kernel Panics are not good and often point to filing hardware:-(
