trying to install a new version of flash player and dont know my password to install. how do i change my password?

i guess my apple i.d. it wont let me install the new version without it and someone else set it up years ago i dont know it, so i need to learn how to change it.

You can manage your Apple ID at this page,

but as someone else set this up some time ago I feel you may need to speak to an Apple tech.

Your AppleID doesn't let you install updates unless they are from the App store. You need your Admin User name and Password.

Go to System Preferences > Accounts and look at the list see the Admin Name does it jog your memory. If there is only one Account then you are using an Admin Account and its asking for the User Name and Password you use when you login.

Do you have the original DVDs that came with your Mac? There is no other way to change it, without the DVDs.
