I've done something incredibly stupid and now I'm afraid I've lost everything.
I wanted to update my username on my Mac, so I did that in System Preferences > Users & Groups > right click Advanced Settings. I stupidly updated the name of the home directory to match.
Now when I try to use my computer, I keep getting pop ups wanting keychain passwords and one that won't accept my password that says: 'OS X needs to repair your library to run applications. Type your password to allow this.' But it doesn't accept my password.
Scold me all you want. I know I've done wrong. But can you please help me get back on the right track?
