Photos on screen saver

I have just upgraded my iMAC to 12.4 and when I ask the screensaver to use my photos, they are dimmed and I am not allowed to choose - can you help please?

• Which Screen Saver are you using?
• What are you choosing in the Source drop-down?
• Are you using the photos in the Photos application, or in a folder somewhere on your Mac?

I am using the screensaver that comes with the System. I am choosing "photo library"
