I hope to keep this brief ... I forgot my apple id, during the reset process (mobile number etc) I was asked for c/card number, expiry date and security code, I entered all of this CORRECTLY but kept getting a message "Not correct" ... so I entered into a password reset routine, this means that after 3 or 4 days I would receive an email explaining how to reset, 5 days later I get a bit concerned, eventually got through to an Apple help desk and was told that as there had been some problems with two part authentication it was not just a few days processing time at the moment but 4-6 WEEKS. I have an iMac, iPhone and iPad and constanly get, every few seconds, a popup asking for my ID or password, it's a total pita ..... anyone any ideas about what I can do please ? ... Roger
