Parrallels using GPRS modem

Hi, I have a problem. I am using a macbook 13 intel on 10.4.9.
I live out in thailand and want to use the internet in remote areas. I have purchased a plug in USB GPRS modem that allows you to use the internet but only in windows. I have parralles but when set up in windows i try to install the software it gets so far and then a warning message comes up in mac os saying the usb port has been blocked by unknown.

Can anyone please help advise.
