My computer was locked with parental controls, admittedly because I had earned it. However, when time came to remove said controls, my parents had forgotten the password.
We thought it would be fine, and just tried the suggested solution and reinstalled Snow Leopard. However, we couldn't reinstall, as parental controls had decided that we didn't have permission to access the installation app.
Any suggestions on how to bypass this? There are some applications that I'd really like to access again, and I'd really like all those pop-up screens saying that I don't have permission to access something I didn't try to access showing up every five seconds. Thanks in advance!
