Parallel?

So currently using a Mac laptop and I have windows 7 with boot camp installed. However now I might have the need to be switching between OSX and window 7 more frequently and wish to use parallel so I don't have to reboot every time I want to switch. So my question is can I run parallel using the bootcamp I created so I can keep all the files and stuff I currently have? Thanks for any help.

Double check that your versions of Mac OS X, Parallels, and Windows are all compatible. And as always, make sure you have a current Time Machine or other backup of your files as a precaution.
