Page flies off screen

I have a Mac Desktop. When I'm typing an e-mail, the page will often fly to the right, and then right off the screen. I can't get it back. I've tried clicking "History" from the tool bar, and it will restore the original e-mail, but not my response. All I get is the question if I want to "Stay on Page" or "Leave Page". The e-mail isn't in "Drafts" either.

What Mail App?

I use Safari as my browser, then get to roadrunner.com where I log in. I know that I should probably use the Mail app on my dock to access my mail.

You must be enabling a Mac OS X System keyboard shortcut by accident ... which keys are you pressing just prior to this odd issue occurring?

my guess would be Command-W
