"Other" files almost 300gb

I've searched this topic before, some say to install omnidisksweep, diskx etc but I can't figure out what is taking up so much space. Can anybody help me out?

I use Time Machine if this is relevant.

Check your user folder for large zip files, also there is a neat utility in the App Store my other half uses called daisy disk might help you find them.
