OS Leopard goes to sleep and doesnt wake up

Hi, i installed Leopard and everything went fine, but then i shut the screen...

Now when i put the Laptop to sleep it will not resume from it. (apple menu or closing the laptop and opening)

Anyone have and ideas to what it is?

Is there a way to make the laptop do nothing while shut?
