OS 10.4.11

I have a G5 powerpc running 10.4.11 and i want to run a plotting and cutting program that was previously running on my older G3 that had OS 9 installed on it, this computer is now broken. My question is how do i get classic OS9 to run on my G5,I have my old OS9 disc but when i try to install it i get the message that G5 cannot run classic, can anyone suggest how I can resolve this dilemma.
