Earlier today, Apple released the latest update to El Capitan, OS 10.11.6. This will (most likely) be the last El Capitan update, as OS 10.12, Sierra, will be coming out in about 2 to 3 months.
In any event, there are 3 ways to get the update, depending on which one you want/need:
1. The "full" one from the App Store.
2. The OS 10.11.6 Combo Updater from here:
https://support.apple.com/kb/DL1885?locale=en_US
3. The "incremental" (and smallest in size) update from here:
https://support.apple.com/kb/DL1884?locale=en_US
Myself, I have (most of the time) always downloaded the Combo one, and I am doing that as I write this.
