Opening programs

Hi there,

I am new to macs and am having a few issues getting used to it and was hoping for some help. I am having troubles opening programs I have downloaded e.g, I downloaded a music program called soulseek. It downloaded fine but when I double click on the icon it doesnt open for me. Nothing happens. Is there something im doing wrong? Any help much appreciated

Hello, I believe that Soulseek is a Windows application. I doubt it but perhaps they have a Mac version of the app.

It had said it was for mac but mustnt have been. Thanks for the help
