Hello All.

I have an SD Card that has the video I shoot on it. When I put it into my Mac, it reads the folder my files in as a QuickTime file. I have to go three sub-folders below this file to get to my actual video files. I always have to right-click the file and select 'Show Package Contents.'

I've right-clicked to OPEN WITH>>OTHER. All applications come up; but how do I tell it to open as a folder and not as another app's file?

What are you trying to do?

Any time you have to 'Show Package Contents.' you are going about things wrong.

The problem with video is that there is no industry consensus on file format. Check the website for the camera's manufacturer and find out how other Mac users have solved the problem for your make and model of camera!
