I have found numerous ICC Profiles dating back to 2011 or earlier. Are these essential to leave on my HD or shall I delete?

Hello and welcome.

-Which version of OS X/macOS?
-Where are the ICC profiles you found?
-Are you running low on disk space, as they don't take up much space at all?

OK, thanks....

Deleting those won't save you much space at all...they are only a few KB each. You really shouldn't delete things in the Library, System, and User Library folders, as that can render your Mac unstable and/or prevent it from starting up normally.

Things that take up a lot of space are video, audio, and applications.

What size is your drive and how much free space do you have?

My drive has 270 GB and the remaining space is 66.4 GB. I work with a lot of large size images, some a large as 450 MB.
I understand your view, so I will not mess with them at all. Glad I asked. At age 89, I have been using Mcs since 1984, and still have most of them son shelves like some of our Precolumbian artifacts. Works of art. Please look at our site: www.SteeleThomasStudios.com.
And thanks for your advice.
