Old Dell Monitors and new Macbook

Hi,

I inherited some old Dell monitors (REV A00 and REV A01 from mid-00s) and on first glance they don't seem to be mac compatible. Anyone know any tricks to make them compatible?

A Thunderbolt/Mini Display Port to VGA adapter may do the trick.

I was considering that. I currently have it plugged into a VGA port on a hub and nothing doing.

-Which exact model Mac?
-What model(s) are the Dell monitors? REV A00 and A01 are probably revisions of the actual model numbers.
-What brand/model/type hub are you using?
