nsa virus removal: help, I'm locked out!

Hi. My handicapped family member has a MacBook pro running OSX. His Mac is infected with the NSA screen lock virus (so he's locked out of the system, so we can't install/ run antimalware sotware).
I've found plenty of online instructions for removing this virus from pcs - but none for Mac.
How do I remove this virus? (I don't personally use Mac, so am a novice with OSX). Thanks in advance for any help!
