Not connecting to the Wifi

Hi,

I have a MacBook that has suddenly decided it won’t connect to the home wifi. It’s showing connected and has the green dot … however when I try to load a web page say Google … it’s stating that I have no wifi! Help !!’

Are you sure your router is providing an internet connection. You can have a WiFi connection to your router and get the green light but that doesn't mean you have an internet connection. Try turning cellular data off on your mob phone then check if it has internet via WiFi.
Normally your router would also be displaying a red light or something to indicate Loss Of Service (LOS).
