Hello everyone,
I am hoping someone can help me with this. I have a MacBook running Tiger, and I have recently purchased Comcast cable internet (Motorola Surfboard modem). The installer hooked it up to the PC in the house, and I am trying to get it hooked up to my Mac. Here's the problem:
I have followed these instructions
http://www.comcast.com/Customers/FAQ/FaqDetails.ashx?Id=2386
to a T, but I am unable to get onto the web at all.
A few other details: the Network spot shows the IP Address & Subnet Mask numbers, but no Router number. Also, the VPN icon has mysteriously appeared in the top bar, and I can't get it removed.
Can anyone help?
