New MacBook with Apple for 2020

What is the thought on purchase for new MacBook? If you had mid 2011 and wanted to update, would you wait for the new one later this year?

The rumours suggest that the first Macs to use "Apple Silicone", i.e. based on ARM processors, will be MacBooks so I would personally wait to see what is announced in a couple of months. ;)

On the other hand, the current Intel based models are at least "tried & tested"!
