Have eyeTV software and Elgato's 200 box hooked to Comcast STB via coax, and wired to my new iMac (3.4, 16G ram, Graphics NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680MX 2048 MB, 3TB w/Fusion, (thunderbolt ports, no firewire). Was working great on my old FW Mac Pro; new 27" iMac hooked up the Elgato eyeTV 200 box using two adapters...400 to 800FW, then 800 to thunderbolt. Software works fine, but can't get any signal from Comcast STB. Elgato suggested changing power supply from the T-bolt to 12v. DC hookup, which I did. It has the power, but isn't getting any signal. Comcast has resent its signal to their STB box and says it's fine on their end.
Is this a problem with Thunderbolt that Apple's forcing on us or what? Any ideas? (I can't work w/o a TV on in the corner any more.)
Thanks.
