Mysterious use of Cellular data while I sleep

I have a new iPhone X and when I examined my online cellular bill, I noticed charges while I sleep in spite of the fact that I have WiFi *and* it is working. The phone is set to not disturb me from 9:00 am to 6:00 am.

Tuesday I turned off Celular Data and charges show. Mystery!

-Which version of iOS on your iPhone?
-Do you have good Wi-Fi signal strength where the iPhone is when you sleep?
-Do you have Wi-Fi Assist enabled?
-Do you have Background App Refresh enabled?

I contacted AT&T and they found out that my IMEI was incorrect. Problem solved...thank goodness.

Excellent...that's a new one to me. Strange that it was working normally for cellular with the wrong IMEI in yoyr account.
