When I start my mac (OSX 10.5.8) I have noticed that instead of saying that it is my computer it has been saying that it is my computer(2). Now it has started to say it is my computer(3).

I don't know why it says this. I only have 1 computer. Is something wrong and if so what do I need to do about it?

I remember mine doing this a while ago... It seemed to just sort itself out.

Sorry that's not much of actual help but at least maybe it can be somewhat reassuring that your computer won't explode.
