My MacBook Pro creates old folders

hello all,
I have a MacBook Pro Retina Display with Sierra and when I connect a USB CF card reader and then I copy a folder of image on my desktop then the date of creation of my folder gets backdated to 1980! Everything works and I can open my images, but still if I do Apple+I and I read the info about my folder it shows that the folder was created in 1980!
