Between last night and this morning my built in camera is suddenly not lit up. I don't see how to turn it on. Where does this "live" on my Mac Air? I don't see anything in my Applications for it. Can someone tell me how to get it back on again? Thanks a lot.

If you aren't using one of these apps (Skype, Facetime or PhotoBooth) then it shouldn't be on.

Check System Profiler (in the Utilities folder, inside the Applications folder). Under the USB header, check to see if the iSight camera is detected.

Thanks for the reply. The strange thing is I tried to make a Quick Time movie this morning and that's when it said there was no camera. Now when I opened Skype it's fine. Not sure what happened this morning but glad it's ok.
