So I deleted all the filed from GarageBand a while back (manually) but it stays and takes up 11 gigs of my storage. I tried finding it on the Mac and GarageBand and other software did not exist, nor did their files. May someone help me get this cleared up?

Thanks :)

Need to know the following:

1. What exact Mac model do you have?

2. What Mac OS are you running?

3. Have you ever done any disk cleanup/maintenance/repairs, from a software perspective? You actually can do a good amount of disk cleanup on your own, and there are some excellent programs out there (both free and not free) that can help you.

4. Are you making backups to an external device? That is critical.

2. macOS Sierra 10.12.6
3. Yes, I have. I use Norton.
4. I did not make a back up.

Norton is for detecting and removing viruses. It is not an effective disk cleanup/maintenance/repair product, except for viruses. You need products like Onyx (free) and Tech Tool Pro (not free). And no backups is not good.
