MSN mail link not working... PLEASE HELP

Each time I launch MSN Messenger and click on the mail link in my personal contacts list, Microsoft word:Mac launches instead of Firefox. A word page appears with the file name msgrtemp3c37c3a9.html

Any ideas what is wrong?
