Moved document stays on screen

Hey everyone,
Got a macbook pro a few weeks ago, and sometimes when I move a file, the icon of it will stay on the screen and I can'r select it or anything and stays visible even if I open things over the top of it :-/ Anyone know what the deal is?

Yes, this happened to me a couple of times, ensure all your Software Updates are done.
