Move folders with same name to parent folder

Within a music collection folder structure. Each artist folder contains an "mp3" folder. This mp3 folder contains album folders. I want to move these album subfolders out of the mp3 folder to it's parent directory. This would put the album folders at the same level as the now empty mp3 folder.

I could not figure out how to do this with Automator (no parent directory command) and I am unfamiliar with AppleScript. Any solution would be appreciated.
