I have just installed Mountain Lion 10.8.3 and find that my Microsoft Programs like Word, Excel, and others cannot be opened because Power PC applications are no longer supported.
Is there a way to fix this? Boot Camp?

Boot Camp runs Windows not old Mac Apps.

If you must have those Apps you will need to buy them again, or move to the better Mac Apps, Pages, Keynote and Numbers, they all save and open there Microsoft conterparts files.

And they are also on the iPad.

I just bought an iMac and lost all program usage, too. There's afeebie that also opens Office docs. Apache Open Office.
I just got it and haven't used it much but it does open old docs imported from power iMac and they are editable.

Apple's iWork suite, Pages, Keynote and Numbers are readily available from the Mac App Store, and open and export Microsoft Office documents. Importantly, they support versioning, auto save, iCloud and other new Mac OS technologies that don't work with MS Office 2011 and the various Open Office approaches.
Text Edit is included free on your Mac, and it will generally allow you to read Word documents.

Hi OP,

Personally I second iWork, you can get the full package or individual programs.

Easy to use and produces beautiful doc's in many formats including MS if you export rather than save, obviously you should save first then export.
