Well, earlier today, Microsoft released an update to Office 2011, Version 14.5.7. One can get it from here:

I just tested it with Outlook, Word, and Excel (still on the last version of Yosemite, OS 10.10.5), and it works fine.

Also, a newer El Capitan-compatible version of Onyx, V3.1.1, was released today. One can get it from here:

Of course, I have not installed the El Capitan "version" of Onyx yet, but I am prepared.

I have one more critical program that needs updating before I upgrade to El Capitan, Tech Tool Pro. I did find out earlier today that Micromat has a "Gold Master" version they are still testing, so maybe they are getting real close to releasing a newer version, V8.0.3. But, I wonder how close Apple is to getting OS 10.11.1, the first (already?; actually has been out for two months) upgrade of OS 10.11 to "Gold Master" status?

Again, I am leaning more and more to waiting until OS 10.11.1 comes out, before I upgrade.
