SOLVED Migrate mail data from OS 9 Mac to Leopard Intel Mac

Hello,

I have finally decided to quit using my old iMac DV 400 (OS 9.1) for e-mail purposes, and would like to switch from Outlook Express to Mail on my Intel iMac. How can I migrate my existing e-mail data (addresses, e-mails) to my new Mac?

Since I have not been able to find instructive and understandable information yet, I hope someone in this forum can fill this gap.
