Metadata with Photos for Slid Shows

How do I create a slideshow in Photos for Mac that will include all the metadata I've added to the photo - e.g., a description or name for each photo? Even if I try to do it in iMovie the metadata will not move to iMovie with the photos I select! HELP!

Hello and welcome.

Normally, the metadata is stripped when you create a slideshow, because it isn't needed for a visual-only display of images.

What metadata are you looking to transfer and how do you want it to be viewed in the slideshow?
