Messages sendings texts from different numbers every time

I'm having an issue with Messages on Mac.

If I disable my apple account from the Messages settings, quit the app, open it and log back in, and then try to send a message to someone, it gets sent as a text (green) and not an iMessage text (blue) and the person I sent it to receives it from a different phone number.

I tried multiple times to recreate this issue and it keeps happening. The text gets sent from a different number every time.

I live in Italy and I use an Italian Apple account. I sent those texts to someone in CA, and that person got them from different numbers from the Pennsylvania area.



Does anyone have an idea what's going on?
