Maverick - Closing apps?

How do you close applications/windows now that the 4 finger swipe was replaced with the dashboard? That was the only way I knew how to view which apps were still open and to close them all quickly. Thanks!

Not sure what you mean, close them all quickly? App Exposé.

My 4 finger swipe has always been changing Desktops, and into Dashboard.

Maybe it was called app expose? Not sure. Before I would do a 4 finger swipe and a small square would open up displaying all the stuff I had open. Then I could just hit "q" to close the ones I wanted to close. I have snow leopard if that helps, then downloaded maverick.

You are now running Mavericks, I tend to use Mission Control ( also in my hot corners ) as screen shot which came out in Lion, it was not in Snow Leopard.

I use Command - TAB to Quit a lot of Apps, Command - TAB then repeated Command - Q
