Hello and welcome.

From your crash log, I see you have a MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid 2012) running OS X 10.11.6 El Capitan, correct?

There are several references to CalendarUI, in addition to Spotlight and Mail.

-Are you signed into iCloud in  > System Preferences... > iCloud?
-Does the Calendar app work normally?
-If so to both, try turning off/unchecking Calendar > Preferences... > General > Show Found in Apps calendar
-Who is your email provider?
-How much free space is left on the hard drive?

Hi thanks for the reply,
Yes the computer details are correct, I have checked and i am signed into icloud, The calendar app wont open either but i hadnt noticed before as i never use it!
Not sure about space on hard drive but i would imagine there should be plenty as i dont have much stored on here!
My email provider is gmail but this is still working on my phone, its just the app that wont open on my mac!

thanks again Jim

Just to clarify a couple of things Jim:

1. To find out how much free space you have on your internal drive, click on its icon once while in the Funder, then go to the File Menu, and select "Get Info". It will tell you how much space has been used, and also how much is available.

2. gmail is not what Cory means by your EMail provider. Your EMail provider is your ISP (Internet Service Provider). My ISP is Comcast, so my EMail provider is Comcast (and I use Outlook 2016 for my EMail "client/program").

Actually honestone, Gmail (Google) would be his email provider. ISP would be his Internet provider. Most ISPs also offer email, but most email providers aren't ISPs - i.e. Comcast and Verizon are ISPs that provide email services, but private domains and companies like Apple (iCloud/MobileMe/.Mac) provide email services, but aren't ISPs.

Got it. Thanks Cory for that clarification. Given that I have always had Comcast (along with prior companies "connected" to Comcast), that is where I was coming from. But I understand what you are saying.
