Mail files do not sync from iMac to Notebook

I save a lot of emails on my iMac under the ON MY MAC- IMPORT- files. All my current emails sync every day okay, but the ones I save in my files on the iMac do not sync to my Notebook.

Hello,

Correct - when you move email to the On My Mac folders in the Mail app, it stores them locally on that Mac and will not sync them to other devices.
