Mail blocked by in-logging demand

Problems using Mail at my iMac ventura 13.7.2. It has worked until last week, but not now. I keep getting an in-logging comand but my passwords do not work, and I do not get a "forgotten password" . It's ok on iPhone. Is this a virus or what do I do?
