The other day I powered up my Macbook and while it was loading a circle with a slash through it appeared instead of an apple during the powerup. Then, the Macbook loaded to a screen that said, "Mac OS X Utilities" and a menu that has the following options: Restore from Time Machine Backup, Reinstall Mac OS X, Get Help Online, and Disk Utility. I tried clicking the reinstall Mac OS X but once it starts to reinstall a message pops up and says "Do you really wish to cancel the installation?" or something like that and even when i click no, it still cancels. I tried going into disk utilities and repairing the disk and all that jazz but to no avail. I have tried to just restart the computer, or just shut it down and power back up but I keep getting taken to this page. I tried to boot into safe mode and, yes am taken to this page instead. I start college tomorrow and will not have time to take in my Macbook to the genius bar for a while! Please help!

I updated to Lion about a month ago if that matters.

Thanks in advance!:)

The main System on the boot partition is dead.
You will need a good internet connection to reinstall Lion.

You may need to take it to an Apple Service Centre.
