Background: I have a 2010 macbook white unibody laptop that is no longer protected by the warranty.
Recently I somehow, unknowingly damaged the unibody. The macbook will now no longer close completely (gap on the right side) and when opened, you can tell that the display is somehow bent. Otherwise, it is difficult to discern the damage. If you hold the closed macbook at eye level, it is easier to notice, though.
Question: Would it be possible to somehow repair this sort of damage? Or would it be more cost effective to replace the entire macbook? It seems to be mostly cosmetic damage, but I can not say for sure.
