Macbook pro passcode problem

Hi everyone,

my friend has a macbook pro, and he forgot the passcode, we are trying to recover or reset the password, but we are unable to do so.
I am trying to reset the OS but still I am unable too, the problem that my friend does not know also the MAC OS installed on the PC, he has the recovery usb drive, yet we are unable to use it for factory rest or passcode reset.

I really need a help here
