Dear Community,

I am in need of outputting 10bit color at 1920x1200 over display port from Mac Book mid 2015 (Intel Iris Pro 6100 only) to HP Dreamcolor LP2480zx. I checked that all the components - the graphics chip, the Displayport (ver 1.2) and the monitor do definitely support 10Bit color aka ARGB10101010 or "Deep Color". The Mac OS is Mojave.

Currently I see that there is 8 bit (ARGB8888) color being output (in system details under graphics).

What I tried

1. Using SwitchResX to force 10 bit color (or billions of colors), but there is no option for this.
2. Exporting EDID for the monitor and it stated that the monitor is indeed 10 bit IPS panel.
3. Rebooting
4. Checking for settings on the montior, but there are none for color depth.

Any ideas?
