MacBook and Mercury Pro

Having difficulties locating a cable that will connect to MacBook and Mercury Pro.
I need to connect a OWC Mercury Pro M Disc burner to a MacBook Pro 2014 A1398.
The Mercury Pro, on the box, shows a USB 3.2 5Gb/s port. The MacBook Pro2, 1 has two Thunderbolt 2 ports.
Is there a cable that will connect, a Thunberbolt2+USB 3.2, these two linking devices?

You'll need one of these. USB C is the same as Thunderbolt.

Having said that and just looked a the Mercury Pro, the "USB" slot looks odd.

That looks good. Not seen a USB 3 connector like that before.
