-Which exact model Mac?
-Which version of OS X/macOS?
-Do you have a Time Machine or other backup of your data?
-Is FileVault enabled that you know of?
-Were you having other issues before this occurred?
-Is it possible to upload a photo of the password recovery page you are seeing?
